Location The 626-acre resort is located in Squaw Valley; the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Facilities The resort offers 403 rooms; nearly half of them suites. Located just minutes from Lake Tahoe; the full-service resort features a wide range of spring and summer activities; including a championship golf course; five restaurants and lounges. Guests may make use of the laundry service for a fee. Rooms All guest rooms command breathtaking views; ranging from deep forests of ancient ponderosa to pristine meadowlands with a backdrop of craggy mountain peaks. The windows open up to bring in the fresh pine-scented mountain air. Sports/Entertainment The hotel offers 33;000 feet of function space and Mountain Buddies; a comprehensive children's entertainment programme. In winter; guests will find the on-property outdoor ice skating rink; Squaw Creek chair lift to Squaw Valley USA; and cross-country skiing in the Squaw Valley meadow.
