This 1888 Victorian town house is completely-renovated, beautifully furnished with antiques, and situated in the heart of the historic district across the trolley stop and carriage rides. Guests have full use of the parlor and dining room, where they enjoy morning papers, fresh fruit, and drinks available 24 hours a day. A generous freshly-cooked plantation breakfast is served in the dining room. Guests occupy a cozy 5-room cottage in the back yard or one of three large upstairs rooms in the main house. The cottage has two double beds, one bath with tub-shower, plus kitchen, dining room, and living room with TV. Each bedroom in the main house has two beds a single and a queen , modern bathroom with tub-shower and hairdryer, telephone, remote-controlled cable color TV, and iron and ironing board. The First Room contains American antiques, including a high-post hand-carved bed. The Oak Room features carved Golden Oak turn-of-the-century antiques. The Front Room is furnished in mid-19th century antiques with a low-post 1835 bed. Check-in is at 4 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
