The beach activities center can arrange an afternoon full of water sports and rent equipment, such as snorkeling gear and beach chairs. The Hawaiian Cultural Center offers a variety of cultural craft demonstrations, such as lei making and hula dancing. Some may also wish to work on their serve on one of the resort's three tennis courts. Beginning January 12, 2011 and ending in fall 2011, Sheraton Kauai Resort will undergo an exciting transformation. During this time we will be refreshing the arrival experience, ocean lobby and courtyard adding a courtyard lounge and introducing The Link Cafe. During this period we will greet and service guests from our garden lobby where they will receive a traditional Hawaiian welcome and hospitality. Utilizing the amazing oceanfront location, Shells restaurant and The Point Lounge will be combined to create a signature dining experience, second to none on Kauai's south shore. Plans also include transforming the oceanfront pool and Oasis Bar & Grill, during which time guests are invited to relax, reconnect and rejuvenate in our lush tropical setting of the garden pool or of course, on breathtaking Poipu Beach.
