Chebeague Island is the largest island in Casco Bay, Maine, approximately 15 minutes via ferry from the mainland; 10 miles from downtown Portland; and 90 minutes from downtown Boston. The island is dotted with rocky coastlines, quiet coves and several sandy beaches. Among many on-island activities are tennis, hiking, golf, fishing, boating, museums and the local historical society.
The Chebeague Island Inn has 21 individually designed guest rooms, including two suites, each tastefully restored and detailed with the work of Maine artists and artisans. All guests enjoy custom queen-sized beds with down bedding and Italian hem-stitched linens. There are neither phones nor televisions in guest rooms, though wireless Internet access is available.
The Greek Revival-style Chebeague Island Inn features 21 individually designed guest rooms, a Great Room with a stone fireplace and oversized furniture, and the Chebeague Island Inn Restaurant and Bar. Outdoors, the Inn’s expansive front porch offers a pleasant destination for sipping cocktails on comfortable wicker furniture and soaking up spectacular views of Casco Bay. |
