General Description | |
Piman Pu is a recently completed Thai style timber free-standing beach front villa. It is inspired by Jim Thompson's house made from selected architectural fittings, with terracotta roof. The villa is set in its own tropical garden filled with orchids, frangipani and bougainvillea; and also fruit orchard with mango trees, bananas and jack fruit. The house is elevated and generously proportioned to maximise the sea breezes and views. It looks to Koh Lanta from the balcony and the main king size bedroom. The second king size bedroom looks to the beautiful jungle covered mountain. The third queen size bedroom has garden views to the sea and the mountain. The house has an equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with hot water, and a large balcony. The house is connected to mains power. Koh Pu is approximately 18 kilometres from Koh Phi Phi. Koh Pu is the name given to the northern part of the island also known as Koh Jum. The villa is right on the beach which is virtually private. The house comes with an Apple Macbook and satellite internet connection, DVD player and iPod speakers. Linen is provided. Koh Pu is still off the beaten track away from the rapidly developing tourist destination of Krabi. Yet, getting to Piman Pu is a beautiful experience. The boat crossing from Laem Kruad pier is about half an hour. Once on the island you can take a day trip to Bamboo Island National Park where you can snorkel (snorkel gear provided) on the reef in the warm clear Andaman Sea, and maybe head to Phi Phi for a nice lunch on the beach. Or if you feel less energetic, you can spend your time relaxing - swimming, reading and eating Thai food, listening to the lapping sea. | |
