 The Fiordland Hotel Motel is situated on four acres of parkland overlooking Te Anau, in a tranquil garden setting. The majority of rooms have a picturesque, panoramic, million dollar view of the lake, mountains and the rural landscape, yet it is only an easy walking distance to the shores of Lake Te Anau and the town centre.
With 94 rooms, the hotel offers a wide range of accommodation to suit every budget. Offerings include a choice of large regency rooms, standard hotel rooms and retro budget hotel rooms.
All include TV, direct dial phone, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms, with the choice of shower over bath or wet floor shower. Also offered are studio motel units with full kitchen facilities and en suite bathrooms, as well as family motel units with kitchen, en suite bathrooms.
Features of the Fiordland Hotel complex include a restaurant with seating for 150, which is open for tours and group dining for evening meals only. In the summer season the restaurant is open for cooked and continental breakfast seven days a week from 7:00am through10:00am. A fully licensed house bar caters for the restaurant and all in house guests. A separate lounge with pool table and big screen television with SKY TV, is open 24 hours to all in-house guests. The hotel property also includes a multi-function centre which caters large functions, from birthdays to weddings to business conferences.
The hotel also has a solar-heated swimming pool complex with spa pools, a large gas barbecue and a fenced children's play area

The hotel will also provide two courtesy vehicles, with seating for up to 10 people each, year round. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
