General Description | |
The guests at the Lodge have over the years often become repeat visitors and have supported the two organisations that evaluate guest response to make awards to the hospitality industry. The small plunge pool is a concession to the creature comforts of our guests! Even just relaxing by the pool, the binoculars should be close to hand to spot birds and squirrels active in the tall, shady trees above. (Ro 09.08) The ten well-appointed thatched cottages have large twin beds and offer such comforts as shower, ceiling fan and a tea/ coffe machine. Relax on your own verandah and enjoy nature. Great emphasis is laid on excellent cuisine. Home grown and local produce provide fresh ingredients for a variety of euro-namibian meals. Home grown game and beef is served, for example as Kudu terrine, Zebra steaks or roast beef from cattle raised naturally. A good selection of south african wines is available at reasonable prices to enhance the delicious dinner and of course the excellent beers of Namibia are well chilled and waiting! The breakfast buffet includes fruits of the season, eggs to order, a variety of german style breads and home made marmalades from wild Eros plums and Marula fruits. | |
