Hotel Victoria is a historic, Art Nouveau building in the centre of Riga, only a 15-minute walk from the old town with its many pubs and entertainment venues. It was built in 1910 by the architect J.Asare according to Western European architectural traditions. Many interior design objects and accessories are original. Hotel Viktorija is a 3-star hotel in the centre of Riga, just 15 minutes away from the old town. The building is an Art Nouveau monument, which is part of UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites. Every room of the hotel is individually furnished and different from the other. The hotel is a combination of a hostel and a luxury hotel with elements of art and design. There is currently no alternative hotel in Riga with the same characteristics as the Hotel Viktorija. The hotel is located on the famous shopping street, named Caka Street. 10 min. walking distance to the old town (churches, old buildings, museums, etc.) and to the park. By Plane: The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Riga International Airport. You can also take bus number 22 to Stockmann Centre. Then go straight ahead, and on the opposite side of the Central Post Office and Origo shopping centre is the trolley bus stop. Take trolley bus 11, 18 or 23 and go 2 stops until Gertrude's Street, then proceed 100 metres until the crossing. You will see a 5-floor building and on the corner of this building is Staburags restaurant. In this same building is Hotel Viktorija. One ticket for the bus or trolley bus costs LVL 0.30 and can be purchased from the conductor. By Train: The hotel is about a 15-20-minute walk from Riga Train Station. By Public Transport: The hotel is about a 15-20-minute walk from Riga Bus Terminal. | |
