Tazuru is a ryokan with 130 years history. With easy access for Kawaramachi down town, Gion and Pontocho, the ryokan stands with surroundings where you feel Kyoto tradition and near Takasegawa, a river known to be the setting of a well-known novel "Takasebune" writen by Jaspanese famous auther Ogai Mori.
