 Gyozanen is located in front of Sanzen-in Temple and in a quiet location away from downtown Kyoto. The ryokan will support you as much as they can to make your travel plan go smoothly.
Cherry blossoms in spring, green leaves in summer, golden leaves & Japanese maples in autumn, snowscapes in winter: you will be able to see and feel each seasons from the ryokan. You will get healing with the natural hot springs in the ryokan. There are two kinds of bath type, which is made in rocks and in Japanaese Cypress. There is also open air bath, so it is available to spend a quiet time taking a look at the indoor garden and the moon etc.
They will also offer you Japanese traditional cuisine using Kyoto's local ingredients on each season.
There are Japanese style guest rooms and Japanese & western combination style guest rooms and all rooms are equipped with bath and toilet in each room. Some of Japanese style rooms are acceptable for single use, which is usually not accepted by most Japanese ryokans. Some of large Japanese style rooms can be used up to seven people.
