Ryokan Ontake is a traditional Japanese style ryokan in Nigorigo Onsen area on a height of 1800 meters which is located between Takayama station and Gero station. Only one sending shuttle bus is operated between JR Gero station and the ryokan for each way with a fee. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. The nearest JR railway station for the ryokan is JR Hida-Osaka station but there is no sending service from the station and you are required to take a taxi. It takes about 80 minutes to the ryokan. Takayama is one of famous sightseeing places in Japan.
