Rome is a vast 3000 year old indooroutdoor museum where you can find ancient monuments, art treasures and architecture in churches, galleries and protected ruins. All within easy reach of the hotel. Leonardo da vinci FCO airport is located 18 km west of the hotel: upon arrival you can take a taxi to the hotel which should take about 25 minutes or the Leonardo Express Train,
a quick 20 minute train ride from the airport which runs every 20 minutes from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm.
Termini railway station is 15 minutes by taxi from the hotel. The Leonardo Express Train connects the station and Fiumicino airport. It is a 20 minute journey and runs twice an hour between 5:30 am and 11:30 pm. Trastevere railway station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel or a few stops on tram 3 or 8 (go downhill and get off at the third stop).
BY CAR
The hotel is located in the heart of Rome’s city centre, close to Trastevere railway station. From the highway A1 (coming north from florence or south from naples) follow signs to G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take the exit “Roma Fiumicino” and get out at via della Magliana Trastevere following the street for 4 km.
Once you arrive at the square piazza Antonio Meucci take via Oderisi da Gubbio and get to p.zza della Radio, turn left and left again after the bridge and go straight until you meet viale Trastevere. Carry straight on for about 1 km until you are in piazza Bernardino da Feltre, turn right at the red light and after 50 mt you will see hotel Ripa on your right.
