General Description | |
Hotel Torre dei Borboni lies 100 metres/328 feet from the vibrant heart of the island of Ponza, the largest of Italian Pontine Islands archipelago, 18 sea miles from Capo Circeo, on a promontory suspended between the sky and the blue Mediterrenean sea. The hotel is strategically placed in the middle of the eight defensive points of the island, built in the 18th century to protect the island from incursions and pirates, and it has been erected in the same area where was the villa of the Roman Emperor Augusto. This beach hotel is built in a traditional Mediterrenean style and boasts a private small island with solarium and berth for hotel guests, directly linked to the rest of the hotel. The two congress rooms, with all technical equipment, can host up to 150 people, and can be used jointly. Guests can also take advantage of several services, such as guided scuba dives and PADI scuba school (with Open water and Divemaster courses), boat rental, main archeological sites sightseeing tours and so forth. Torre dei Borboni hotel is closed between October and March. | |
