General Description | |
The Dimora Sant'Eligio is located in a centralised position of Naples near the famous Port dell'Orologio, one of the entrances to Piazza Mercato that beginning in the 13th century was the scene of exchange among merchants and travellers from throughout Europe. Available for client use are inviting and comfortable rooms and a splendid terrace that is completely immersed in nature with a panoramic view of the characteristic domes and bells of San Giovanni a Mare, the Tower of the Arch of Sant'Eligio, and the dome of the Church of the Carmine. The Dimora Sant'Eligio has 12 double rooms including two which are equipped for the disabled. Some rooms are enriched with sculptures of Luigi Mazzella, and feature modern and functional comforts. The rooms are divided among two storeys; the twelfth room is adjacent to the large terrace that covers the entire surface of the building and enjoys a characteristic vista of the rooftops and the bells of the antique village. The rooms are named after the most characteristic piazzas of Naples and evoke the beautiful artistry of the city in order to recall a comfortable and classy stay in the heart of Naples, a city that for centuries has provided its visitors the warmth, the colours and the sounds of a fantastic land. | |
