Hotel Hermes is a no-frills family runned hotel 70mts from the SMN train station and within walking distance from all historical sites, monuments and museums. The hotel has seven rooms which share 3 bathrooms and 7 rooms with private bath. Rooms with shared bathrooms have a washbasin and bidet in the room, (shower and wc 7mts down the hall). Singles and doubles with extra bed upon request. Continental breakfast is included in the cost of the room. We offer no luxuries except for our service. Our furniture is essential and beds more than comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily and all linens are included. Rooms with shared bathrooms have a big fan, rooms with private bath ha A/C. Sorry but the building is not prepared for the physically disabled. If you fly into Firenze take the city bus (5euro) to the SMN station. If you arrive by train, at the end of the tracks go RIGHT, go down the stairway and go RIGHT again. You'll pass a small supermarket, a flower shop and the post office, there cross the street diagonally toward the only 2 floor brick colored building on the block. We are within walking distance of everything, the bus and train station for side trips (we will be happy to help you plan them)are only 70mts away. Excellent Tuscan restaurants and trattorie are near by, we'll be glad to give you counciling on your needs and choices.
