Fourteen kilometres from the sea, 22 kilometres from Cefalu and next to Castelbuono, a small Sicilian inland town (430 m. above sea level), this castle stands dating from the 1800s. Boasting a magnificent view which stretches from the Madonie mountains to the Tyrrhenian Coast. Guests are accommodated in elegant apartments facing the internal courtyard of the castle. The apartments have been restored to its full former glory. Guests can also enjoy a guided tour round the old olive-press and to some of the rooms in the main building. The castle itself is surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove, perfect for a gentle stroll. The friendly owner will be happy to suggest some unforgettable wine and gastronomic finds so guests may discover some of the local specialities - fish, mushrooms and many others. Guests have access to: bocce (Italian bowling), mountain-bikes, table-tennis, outdoor barbecue with pergola and tables, and on request, guided excursions to the Madonie Nature Reserve.
