Certified divers may book dive trips in and around Havelock. Dive trips further afield to the well-known but relatively unmapped sites can be organized with a little advance planning. If you would like to explore the mangrove eco-systems around Havelock and its neighbouring islands yourself, then rent one of our kayaks from the Jetty at the dive centre. Between January & April the waters are calm and flat, making kayaking easy and fun. Groups of two kayaks travelling together are a minimum. Last, you can go swimming with Rajan, our resort's very own elephant, in the waters off Beach No. 7. Spend time with him underwater (appointments at Rajan?s discretion), or feed him his breakfast each day - a whole banana tree. Lastly, we are in the tropics, so expect the occasional shower even in the dry season; conversely, you could have glorious sunshine during the wet season. Rates are based on double occupancy. Please note the following instructions once you arrive at Port Blair Airport: From the airport can be transferred by the afternoon Government ferry which departs at 14:00 Hrs and arrives into Havelock at 16:15 Hrs. The return ferry from Havelock to Port Blair departs at 14:00 and 16:30 Hrs. However, none of the regular public ferries returning from Havelock to Port Blair connect with departing flights on the same day. So please provide for an extra 1-night stay in Port Blair and departing Port Blair the following morning.
