Built in 1892 A.D. by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of Alwar, the grand Sariska Palace is located outside the Sariska National Park and is 81 miles away from Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Originally built as a hunting lodge, Sariska Palace used to be an ideal gateway to the wilderness of the forest situated nearby and also acted as a retreat for the nobles who came here to spend some quality time amongst the mellifluous ditties of the folk singers and dancers during the evening hours.
