The Townhouse Hotel is located in the heart of historic Dublin, a short walk from Connolly Station on the north side of the RIver Liffey and the world renowned Trinity College - the second oldest university in Europe and home to the Book of Kells. Fashionable shopping streets such as Henry Street, O'Connell Street and Grafton Street, the internationally renowned cultural capital of Ireland Temple Bar, the O2 Arena, Croke Park home of the GAA, the Aviva Stadium, museums, art galleries and a myriad of pubs and restaurants are all close by.
The Townhouse offers guests a choice of rooms from our deluxe doubles, twins to comfortable and well serviced singles. The twin rooms provide a nice homely living space and are serviced with a multi-channel remote control television. A telephone has been provided in each room for guests convenience and tea/coffee making facilities too. They are in keeping with the age of the hotel and aren't hugely contemporary.
The lobby fully exemplifies the history of the hotel where a number of famous play writes lived and worked, namely Dion Boucicault - one of the most great dramatists of the Victorian era. In The Townhouse lobby you will see many of the original Playbills and posters for his plays.
Breakfast is enjoyed in the open plan dining room or in the tranquillity of the enclosed Japanese garden.
A charming hotel amid the midst of vibrant Dublin. The Hotel offers basic but unique range of bed and breakfast accommodation in a relaxing, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Good value and central accommodation can't be bettered. |
