Each unit has telephone, safe, hair dryer, satellite television, air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchenette and large veranda with a superb view of the volcano, caldera and crystal Aegean waters. A fantastic location on the cliff side, overlooking the famous Caldera, sunsets and crystal Aegean waters, the hotel is situated at the entrance to the pretty traditional village of Oia (pronounced Ia). Oia is characterised by its quaint whitewashed houses, adorned with bright pink flashes of bougainvillea, and its picturesque cobblestone alleyways. The village has a great selection of tavernas, cafes, bars and shops. It is in the north of the island, 12km from Fira Town, 18km from Santorini Airport, 22 km from the main port. The nearest beaches are Ammoudi which is a 15 minute walk or Baxedes which is 1.5km away. There is no restaurant. Breakfast is brought to the guest rooms each morning and can be enjoyed on the private veranda overlooking the sea. White washed traditional style houses and villas built in to the cliff with a swimming pool in the middle. Access is from the main footpath in to Oia. There are steps down to the rooms though. The lobby is fairly small and functional. | |
