Breakfasts are served either in our spacious dining hall, or on beautiful warm mornings, outside on the terrace. We offer buffet style cereals, fresh and dried fruits, fruit juices, local yoghurts and preserves and our very own home made bread. Those with a more hearty appetite can choose from organic porridge oats, locally produced sausages and bacon, home grown tomatoes and free range eggs from down the road. Local points of interest include the nearbyl village of Hanmer, with its histroric church standing by the "shining mere". Whithcurch which is the oldest town in Shropshire, continually inhabited since Roman times and Ellesmere the 'lake district' of Shropshire. The region is full of interests to suit everyone - history, horticulture, museums, castles, stately homes and horseracing.
