Built in 1796, Larpool Hall is a fine Country House set within 14 acres of tranquil gardens and woodland, with splendid views over the Esk Valley and towards the sea at Whitby, about 1 miles away. Its narrow streets and iconic ruined abbey are well worth visiting. Many of Larpool Hall's 29 bedrooms overlook the wooded grounds and are equipped with a hairdryer, clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Flatscreen TVs are provided in the bedrooms. Larpool Hall, designated as non-smoking, has a large lounge with a central dance floor, two smaller lounges and a bar. Accommodation through LateRooms is on a BandB basis. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. A three-course dinner is available on request at a price of £22.95 and served at 7 to 7.30pm. Please contact the house if you wish to have dinner on your night of arrival. All meals are served in an informal, friendly atmosphere at tables for up to 10 guests. Free car parking is available. Please notify the Country House in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
