Welcome to our holiday apartment in Weymouth,home to the 2012 Sailing Olympics and the place to explore the Jurassic Coast, one of the World's Heritage Sites. In summer the main beach is a child's dream with golden sands and shallow seas. The harbour and old town play host to a theatre, cinema, castle and a variety of shops. The National Sailing Centre is 2 miles away on a local bus route. Jubilee View Apartment is on the corner of The Esplanade and King St. overlooking the Jubilee Clock Tower and 25 yards from the main sandy beach. Our second floor apartment is a spacious modern conversion of an old Victorian building on the seafront completed in 2008 with a partial sea view from the lounge window. There is a lift to all floors. The lift measures 1.40m x 1m with a maximum load of 600kgs and may not be suitable for the large mobility scooters. The lounge/diner is light and airy measuring 13'5 x 15'2 max, with an adjoining kitchen 11'7 x 10'6. Lounge has 3 seater leather sofa plus 2 matching armchairs, table and chairs for 5, flame effect electric fire, BT broadband, freeview TV and DVD. Kitchen has fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Master bedroom with twin beds measures 11'10 x 11'7 with space for z bed or cot, 2nd bedroom with king bed measures 11'3 x 10''7. Bathroom has bath with shower over, WC and basin. A perching chair and bath board are available. Travel cot and highchair for baby. Adult size Z bed. Linen and towels included (excluding cot sheets, please bring own beach towels). Heating costs included. Bike store within building. Parking permit for one car. The building is close to the main station with direct trains from London. This is a lively area with people using the beach activities, local shops and restaurants.
