General Description | |
Situated outside the beautiful Cotswold town of Painswick, the garden is a fascinating step back to the flamboyant English Rococo period. This gem of a garden, which was originally laid out in the 18th century, is set in a hidden Cotswold valley with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. Historic follies nestel next to woodland walks, herbaceous borders and a large Kitchen Garden. The Garden, although historically unique as the sole survivor from the Rococo period, is best known for its naturalised display of snowdrops in the early spring and the Anniversary Maze. This romantic hideaway is a popular location for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies. The Coach House Restaurant serves a selection of light lunches and cakes made in our own kitchen. Much of the produce is grown in the Garden itself. For group or family tickets please contact us directly on 01452 813 204 to make your booking and benefit of our special rates | |
