Call 01487 842646 for availability We are located in Rectory Road Bluntisham some 3 miles east of St. Ives on the A1123, quite easily accessible from the A14, M11 and the A1(M) if you are travelling by road (just pop in PE28 3LN) into your sat nav to make it easier. By rail, there are excellent bus links to St. Ives from Cambridge and Huntingdon railway stations (Stagecoach service 55) where we can arrange to collect you from St. Ives bus station a little over 3 miles away. In East Anglia and the Fens, there are a great deal of activities to participate in, and places to see. Right behind Bramble Corner is a recently opened section of the RSPB Wetland Trust area for bird watching enthusiasts, but also within a three mile radius, there is golf, sailing, walking (the Ouse Valley Way), fishing, canoeing, river boat hire, and local sports centre for swimming etc. Further afield there are many ancient monuments, stately homes, wildlife parks and a host of other things to visit. Cambridge, itself, with its connection with the famous University, is a must to look around and the open top bus tour is an absolute essential. With its connection with the War and in particular the RAF and USAF, we have welcomed many people whose association with the area has brought back many memories. We offer a warm welcome in our five letting room accommodation, currently 3 star Enjoy England (the old Tourist Board) rated, and have a guest dining room for your use, where you can enjoy locally produced bacon and sausages, eggs from our own flock of chickens that roam the orchard, home grown tomatoes (when in season) local mushrooms, and our own home made yoghurt and home made preserves. We also offer fresh fruit when in season, but we do freeze our own Victoria plums for you to enjoy all year round. Stewed plums with home made yoghurt is delicious.
