The Boars Head is a lovely old building, built in the 1700's, set in a picturesque little village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Set between the market towns of Skipton (10 miles) and Settle (4 miles). We are perfectly positioned in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and very close to the Forest of Bowland and the Lakes. Hotel facilities include free Wi-Fi, Free Car parking and well established restaurant. The Boars Head is an ideal centre for walking or touring holidays: open moorland, the hill slopes of the Pennines, caves and waterfalls are all within easy reach of the village. Sporting and leisure activities are catered for locally including walking, pony trekking, mountain climbing, cycling, pot holing, fishing and golf. The public bar offers several traditional cask ales, lagers and ciders. The menu, served in the public bar or the restaurant, provides a wide choice of homemade food from our Steak and Ale Pie, Gammon, 16oz steaks and huge battered haddock to more unusual dishes on our specials which change daily and can include things such as Lobster, Tuna Steaks, Rib Eyes, Duck a la orange e.t.c.
