The menu changes daily with the emphasis on the best of British cooking, enhanced with continental and oriental influences. A selection of fine wines are available to truly complete guest’s satisfaction. A vegetarian speciality is always on the menu, and individual diets or simply just something for a special occasion can be accommodated. A separate beamed inglenook dining room is available for private parties, where guests can wine and dine in an even more intimate setting. The beamed residents lounge is a cool refuge from the heat of the summer and is a peaceful and relaxing setting in which guests can leave their cares and worries behind. Location Nearest airport: New Plymouth Nearest train station: Okehampton - 6 miles Nearest bus station: Okehampton - 6 miles Directions: From Exeter – Leave the M5 at junction 31 onto the A30 dual carriageway indicated to Okehampton and Bodmin. Some 27 miles from the motorway leave the dual carriageway onto the A386 to Tavistock. Collaven Manor is to be found just two miles on the right hand side, half a mile past Sourton. From Bodmin and Launceston – Follow the A30 through Lifton and Lewdown, turning right at Sourton Cross onto the A386 signposted to Tavistock. The hotel is located just two miles from the roundabout, half a mile past Sourton. From Plymouth – Take the A386 to Okehampton and Barnstable. The hotel is on the left hand side some ten miles after leaving Tavistock, half a mile past Lake.
