This delightful hotel enjoys stunning views over Exmoor and the sea. Decorated to a high standard by the friendly owners. Sinai House is a privately owned Victorian house built in 1860 as a gentlemens residence and situated on The Lynway, with the residents lounge, dining room and most bedrooms having magnificent scenic views over the Lyn valley and sea. On clear days you can see the coast of Wales. Built into the hillside, with lovely terraced gardens and very unusual in this area, a private car park. Sinai House is only a short walk from the village centre, which has many restaurants, shops and pubs. The Sinai House has eight bedrooms, six with ensuites and two with private facilities, two of the private facilities rooms are single rooms, also available is a residential licensed bar with a nautical theme and a lounge with games and a library. Bar snacks and evening meals are available, cooked fresh every day. There is on site parking for free too!There are numerous walks (Watersmeet, Valley of Rocks where there are wild goats and Exmoor ponies) from Sinai House and the South West Coastal Path which is 300 metres away, as well as fishing (seasonal), there are five golf courses all within forty minutes car ride, horse riding on Exmoor, (all can be reserved from Sinai House) and sandy beaches within half an hour drive; public transport is also available to Barnstaple, Ilfracombe and Minehead from the public car park adjacent to the hotel. | |
