 Cisswood House is one of England’s most established and well recognized country house hotel, built in 1928 for the Chairman of Harrods and his wife Cissily. Located in the Sussex Countryside close to the historic market town of Horsham, and a short distance from both the seaside city of Brighton and London Gatwick Airport.
An Independently operated hotel with 51 both traditional and contemporary modern rooms. The Hotel has recently been extensively refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation and facilities. Amenities include, Spa treatments, Gym, indoor Pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi, Restaurant, Bar and 24 hour room service, complementary WiFi and parking for all guests.
The Garden Restaurant provides an intimate dining experience, serving freshly prepared food. Many of our dishes are produced using local suppliers supporting the West Sussex community. A fine selection of wines including some English wine from Bookers Vineyards just 4 miles south of the hotel.
For relaxed dining we offer an extensive range of salads, sandwiches and light meals that are available throughout the day and evening in ours comfortable lounge. A particular favorite is afternoon teas served in front of our roaring fire during the winter months and on our lawns In the summer.
Traditional Sunday Lunch is served in the Garden Restaurant and also available Al Fresco in our gardens during Summer.
Non residents are welcomes for all our dining facilities.
During the summer we would also be happy to prepare a picnic for you to enjoy in the stunning Sussex countryside.
