The High Beech Hotel was originally an Edwardian country house. For the last twenty-five years it has been a privately owned hotel. The hotel is situated between historic Battle and Hastings, and is an ideal base for touring East Sussex, for holidays on the coast or simply for an overnight stay. Business people particularly appreciate the hotel's flexibility in catering to their needs. The hotel offers luxury accommodation. Our executive rooms have Jacuzzi bathrooms. In addition to our seventeen bedrooms, all en-suite, there is a well-stocked bar, a comfortable lounge area and an elegant restaurant. A particularly popular event is the renowned High Beech Wednesday and Sunday Carvery served in the restaurant between 12.00 and 4.00 pm. Not surprisingly early booking for this is recommended. Banqueting and Conference facilities for up to 150 guests make the High Beech Hotel the ideal venue for weddings, dinner dances, private parties and exhibitions The hotel organizes special events throughout the year. The hotel has four self-contained conference areas, the Ambassador Suite, the 1066 Suite, the Hastings Suite and the Sussex Suite. These suites are flexible enough to accommodate groups as large as 150 or as small as 10 people. There is disabled access to all ground floor areas of the hotel, including the Wedgewood Restaurant, Mountbatten's Bar and all of the conference suites, except for the Sussex Suite which is on the first floor. There is also a disabled cloakroom on the ground floor.
