The house was built in 1786 and was renovated in 1999 to provide tasteful and comfortable accommodation, which retains its character and original features. The lounge is available for the use of guests. Walkers and cyclists are always welcome. Maps and guide books about the area are available. The Lancashire cycle way is about 400 yards away. Drying facilities for clothes and boots are provided. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
