Privately owned, the Fowey Hotel is renowned for its friendly, relaxed atmosphere and high standards. Many of the individually decorated en suite rooms offer panoramic views of the harbour, as do all of the public rooms. Ranked as one of the UK's most desirable locations, the pretty village of Fowey is a joy to wander around, with its charming shops and galleries, wonderful views and walks all around. Since 1997 the hotel's restaurant has held an AA Rosette award for the outstanding preparation of its food and the quality of the locally sourced, seasonal ingredients it uses. Parking at the hotel is limited, but can be booked in advance. Until 31 March 2009, parking is free. Free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel's public areas. On entering Fowey, continue on the main road leading into the town. The road will bear to the right (signposted Fowey Hall, Hotel and Restaurant). Do not take this road but indicate left and take the road down into the town, then take the next right (signposted Fowey Hotel). Continue along this road for approx 200 yards. The road will bear to the right, and you need to take the driveway on the left (sign posted The Fowey Hotel Reception).
