General Description | |
The Falkland Arms at Great Tew, a beautiful 16th Century building which is still run as a traditional, local pub. The flagstone floors, oak beams and inglenook fireplace are cosy in winter and our beautiful gardens are enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year. We are famed for our selection of beers, whiskies and country wines and we offer superb food and accommodation. Our rooms (refurbished in 2004) retain the charm of the 16th Century building and are perfect for weekend getaways. Enjoy delightful bb accommodation, in the peace of a beautiful Oxfordshire village, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Guests often say that a visit to us is like stepping back in time; with our low ceilings, traditional leaded windows with stunning views. Whether you are popping in for a 'quick drink', a bite to eat or looking for somewhere to stay, The Falkland Arms offers a warm welcome to all and is the perfect place to snatch a few moments of tranquillity. | |
