No. 20 is a warm and welcoming, three star rated bed and breakfast, in the small town of Amble, Northumberland. It has a stunning location very close to the beach, just a short walk across grassland to wide open sands and dunes. Amble is surrounded by lovely countryside and also enjoys proximity to some of the most spectacular beaches in the area. Spectacular Druridge Bay is five minutes walk and the town has a delightful small marina with a fleet of 12 fishing boats. Just off the coast opposite No. 20 is Coquet Island, a nature reserve that is home to puffins, seals and other wildlife,and boat trips start at just £4. For those looking to travel further afield, Amble is located on the spectacular Northumberland coastal route and is less than one mile from Warworth Castle and a ten minute drive to Alnwick Garedn and Alnwick Castle. A fantastic breakfast is served each morning at the communal farmhouse table. Fresh, local produce is used, including free range eggs, best quality dry cure bacon, fresh juice and cafetiere coffee. There is a pub nearby as well as a great new restaurant called Zecca ( recently opened ) with an award winning chef. No. 20 provides high quality accommodation in spectacular scenery. | |
