The Monte Carlo Beach Hotel is located in the heart of a sheltered bay on the far end of the Principality just by the beach. This is a beautiful 2 storey rounded building, painted in a provencal terracotta colour, with a shallow sloaping roof and on the left handside of the building a turret.
The lobby is in the turret part of the hotel, it is large in size and beautifully decorated in a contemporary style with art deco influences in pale harmonious colours. Sweeing white lines run along the rounded walls up to the high ceiling. There a small round tables with comfortable chairs, and clients can enjoy light snacks or drinks. Large arched windows offer a beautiful view of the bay.
The hotel swimming pool is of Olympic size, it is a heated sea water pool.
The rooms and bathrooms are of medium size. The rooms have been refurbished in contemporary style with references to the swinging 30's, art deco and of course the sea. The rooms feature wall frescos painted by Aurore de la Morinerie, reminiscing Matisse and Cocteau. All rooms have sea view and terrace or balcony
The hotel has several restaurants offering gastronomic cuisine to snacks in beautiful surroundings and in the open air overlooking the sea. |
