 Hotel Hotel Chateau de Mirambeau lies in the heart of eight hectares of parkland in the area of Charente-Maritime, located between the famed cities of Cognac, with its vineyards, and Bordeaux.
A large part of the chateau’s architecture dates back to the 17th Century while some areas are even older, originating from the 12th Century. The original style of the hotel with its dominating towers, galleries, spires and stone porticoes transports guests back in time, allowing them to savoir the atmosphere of ancient chateau life.
Following nine months of complete renovation, the chateau offers 19 guests rooms, all unique and featuring rare and antique furnishings as well as four-poster beds. A very elegant restaurant proposes regional and refined French cuisine served in a charming and sensuous atmosphere. There are some cozy lounges, ideal for relaxation and socializing. At the Cognatheque lounge, guests have the choice of an impressive selection of cognacs as well as cigars.
Room facilities include a mini bar, room service, free newspaper,a safe deposit box and cable telvision. The hotel provides parking facilities, an elevator, baby cots, a concierge service, a baby sitting service, as well as the internet and a laundry/valet service.
