 The welcoming Medplaya Aparthotel Esmeraldas is located at the heart of Tossa de Mar, only a 10 minutes walk from the beach. Scores of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs are within easy reach, 200 to 400 metres away. Links to the public transport network lie 300 m away.
The hotel was built in 1982 and completely renovated in 2004. It offers a total of 107 apartments spread over 5 floors. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a games room, Internet access and a TV room. In addition, it has a cosy cafe, bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs for younger guests. Medical assistance is also on offer for should it be necessary. The hotel offers younger guests a playground and kids' club.
