 The Sunrise Crystal Beach Hotel is situated on gentle slopes directly beside the kilometre-long sandy beach of Costa Calma. It has direct access via steps to the fine and crystal beach of Costa Calma near the commercial centre Sotavento with souvenir shops, boutiques, restaurants, supermarket, a bank and a medical centre.
Renewed in 2004, the hotel Sunrise Crystal Beach comprises a total of 163 rooms spread over 8 floors of which 138 are double rooms, 16 are single rooms and 9 are suites. There is a spacious lobby with a 24-hour reception, safe, a currency exchange facility and lifts. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a conference room, a hairdresser's salon, a games room, a cafe, 2 bars and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant a separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. There are room and laundry services as well as medical assistance, parking facilities and a bicycle storage and hire facility available.
The comfortable, air conditioned rooms come with an en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, mini bar, fridge, double bed, safe and balcony.
On the middle hotel floors is a sprawling pool terrace with a swimming pool and a children's pool, a pool/ snack bar, sun loungers, parasols and wonderful views out over the beach and surrounding coastline. The hotel also comprises a Jacuzziand a gym as well as a sauna and professional massage service (both of the latter come at an additional charge). Sports on offer include water and land-based aerobics, play table tennis, squash (rackets for an extra charge), archery and beach volleyball. Billiards, road/ mountain bike hire and tennis can be played at locations close to the hotel and for an additional fee. A diverse range of water sport activities are on offer on the beach. The hotel also offers a seasonal entertainment programme with evening shows to provide some variation for guests.
A buffet is available at breakfast time and in the evenings. Guests may select from the a la carte menu at lunchtimes. Special dietary needs as well as individual-specific meals may be provided.
