Barracuda Camp is approximately 5 kilometers from the City Centre, situated directly on the beach. It is a peaceful and quiet camp with tranquil surroundings; excellent scenic views across the red sea looking at Saudi Arabia and it’s mountains. Surrounding you are the mountains of Sinai the views are absolutely breathtaking.
There is excellent snorkeling with two beautiful reefs where you can see many specimens of colourful fish and the beauty of the colourful coral. The camp consists of breathtaking views which completely surround you, peacefulness and relaxation is number one on our menu.
The staffs are very friendly and are always available to help you. Most speak very good English, or there is an English person based at the camp most of the time if any problems.
The quaint bungalows are situated directly on the beach, just steps away from the sea, wake up to see and hear the sound of the sea, open your door and look at the breathtaking views around you.
There are separate shower and toilet facilities which are of good clean standard overall consists of 6 toilets and four showers. There is also a shower directly of the beach for when you come out of the sea. Laundry service is available at an extra cost, usually the next day if given earlier enough the day before.
There is an excellent restaurant on site with an expansive menu which consists of Egyptian food, Bedouin special dishes such as Maglouba and Fattah these are absolutely delicious tasting dishes, another is called madfonah which is meat and vegetables buried and cooked. Watch them make Bedouin bread, be careful the staff will get you to have a go.
We also have on the menu English dishes and a variety of desserts and cakes. The restaurant is open all day for snacks and meals. We will even put a table on the waters edge so you can put your feet in the sea while eating your meal. Hot and cold drinks are always available, You will always have your welcome drink of Bedouin tea, which is sweet and can consist of marmaria very tasty, once you have one small glass you will want another. |
