The inn building has 24 standard rooms in a style which fits the age and appearance of the inn and which have bath and toilet. TV and mini bar. There are 10 business rooms - renovated in 2009. 5 VIP rooms. The old bakery has 2 antique suites and in the building E Bindstouw there are 3 rooms. A stay in Laasby Kro can easily be combined with cycling and hiking tours and you can also go on sailing tours on the Himmelbjerg lakes. There is only a short distance to for example the Jorn Museum in Silkeborg and to Aarhus with its many museums and small funny shops in the old Latin Quarter. Laasby Kro has 275 years experience of inn keeping. It has been situated in the undulating hills on the highway between Aarhus and Silkeborg since 1734 when Christian Gylling became a royally licensed innkeeper. In the old inn building the low-ceilinged taprooms virtually exude cosiness and good atmosphere and grandmothers cuisine is renowned for serving good traditional Jutland food. It is a pleasure to sit in the antique rooms and the old inns hall has been renovated and reminds you of the style of the time when the Danish author Steen Steensen Blicher lived. The hall is called the Blicher Halland here you can enjoy the nice soft light of the original chandeliers from Laasby church. Because of the site in the mid-Jutland lake highlands you will never run short of nature experiences. There is good fishing possibilities in the river Gudenaaen and in the Himmelbjerg lakesand a total of 7 golf courses are situated within a short range. Laasby Kro is well suited for meetings and conferences with up to 200 participants - and in addition the inn has specialized in alternative meeting concepts such as outdoor meetings and meetings on the lakes e.g. on board Denmarks oldest paddle steamer Hjejlen.
