The Thuringer Forest likes to describe itself as a cross-country paradise in the heart of Germany. Cross-country skiers can here enjoy a unique nature experience on the Rennsteig-Ski-Wanderweg which is, with its 168.3 km, the longest connecting cross-country ski run in the world. Neustadt am Rennsteig is, with its height of 805 metres, relatively sure of snowfall and offers, particularly families, very special winter enjoyment. Cross-country ski trails start right in front of the hotel. Snowboard fans can use the ski lift which is 500 meters away. Enjoy a sledge run or experience the wonderful winter landscape with a horse drawn sledge.
