The history of the Luetgenhof estate goes back more than 600 years. The manor house has existed in its present form since 1839. In those days it was owned by the noble lords of Paepke. Through the course of history and subsequent overexploitation the original splendour of the castle had vanished by the start of the nineties. The castle has 23 rooms which have been decorated in a variety of five different fabrics. The primary colours in the rooms are decided by shades of light beige, yellow and green. Modern, unusual designs and at the same time the use of elements from the old days such as porcelain handles and ornate washstands provide charming contrasts.
