It's hard to believe but there's a new St. Regis Hotel opening that one may actually be able to afford. The St. Regis Tianjin, a 5 Star hotel, is located in Northern China along the Heping River.
Its interior layout, which was devised by KCA International, was influenced by the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements and boasts features such as The Golden Times, a piece by Chinese ceramicist Zhu Legeng that comprises 230 handmade tiles depicting waves, ripples and cobblestones.
The hotel is located 10 miles from the Tianjin Airport.
Visitors can sample Cantonese cuisine at the Yan Tiang restaurant or head to Riviera to enjoy modern French food while soaking up the Parisian brasserie-style atmosphere. The St Regis Tianjin's third eatery, Promenade, will serve a range of European dishes with Mediterranean influences, while Decanter and the St Regis Bar will offer plenty to interest guests with a passion for wine and cocktails.
