Set in the east of Qingdao, the Qingdao Ocean Hotel ( Qingdao yuanyang dajiudian ) is a three star hotel renowned for its elegant lobby. The hotel is some thirty minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the railway station. This spot is not ideal for any of the main sights, although it is near to the business end of town.
