Located in the Old Stone Man National Tourism and Holiday Zone in Qingdao, the Golden Beach Hotel ( Huangjin hai'an dajiudian ) is surrounded by the sea and mountains. The hotel is close to the Pillar of the Old Stone Man ( Shilaoren haishizhu ), a rock that juts out of the sea to the east allegedly in the shape of the legendary Chinese figure. To the north is the "Qingdao International Beer City" and to the south is "Ocean Park".
