The Egret Hotel (Bailu Binguan) stands on the banks of Nanjing's Qinhuai River by the Confucian Temple, which ranks in the top 40 tourist attractions in China. Nanjing was China's capital on more than one occasion, and has inherited many historical relics as a result.
