Jacobs Creek Retreat at Moorooroo Park is a privately own vineyard estate situated in the heart of the world famous Barossa Valley. Located down a no-through road, surrounded by shiraz vineyards and towering red gums, the retreat is perfect for an intimately secluded and peaceful getaway.
Nestled within the Moorooroo Park gardens is the ancestral homestead of the Nitschke Family. These historic stone buildings, originally built in the 1840's, have been transformed into Luxury Accommodation Suites, all uniquely designed and furnished to create a world of pure relaxation. The property is home to 7 suites, across 4 different room types, covering all styles of stays from an overnight getaway, to a week long escape.
The property is also home to Moorooroo Park Vineyards, a boutique wine label only available from the Cellar Door and some of Australia??s leading restaurants including Aria, Bilsons, Grossi Florentino, Palazzo Versace, Absynthe and Southern Ocean Lodge. All guests get to experience an in depth tasting of this exclusive range of wine in the 170 year old Cellar Door.
Central to the experience you receive at Moorooroo Park is the opportunity to enjoy a Degustation Long Lunch, starting between 12noon and 2pm, and stretching through the afternoon. Each course is created by Chef Wyndham House using the freshest regional produce, and then matched with some of the regions premier boutique wines, allowing you to experience the ultimate in Barossa Food and Wine.

Studio - A European inspired suite, featuring a King Bedroom, fitted with Antique Furnishings & an Indulgent Romanesque ensuite. Loft - Beautiful bluestone building, comprising of 2 suites, is situated in the heart of the Moorooroo Park gardens. Retreat - Ideal for longer stays, or that extra touch of indulgence, the Retreat Suites have a separate lounge & dining area. Orchard - Dubbed the Honeymoon Suite & set in the Pearch Orchard, perfect for a romantic escape Rates are based on double occupancy.
