Set on a Private Nature Reserve with Sweeping ocean views over the Bay Of Fires, view wildlife from your cabin balcony. The cabins are self-contained or we can supply a delicious woodfired pizza or a dish from our inhouse menu. We have a full liquor license and each cabin has a wine rack with a selection of premium Tasmania and Banrock Station wines and also a fully stocked mini bar at very reasonable prices.
Cabins are timber lined and open plan, with a queen size bed, a double fold out futon, dining suite, colour TV, radio and a potbelly stove. There is a generous size ensuite bathroom with Sheridan king size bath towels. Cabins run on a 12-volt solar system with all the facilities you would expect.
We are 30 minutes drive from St Helens, the game fishing capitol of Tasmania and can arrange guided fishing tours through local operators from game fishing to trout fly fishing. There are numerous walks from ten minutes to one hours drive, such as St Patricks Head, South Sisters, St Colombia Falls, Blue Tiers, Bay of Fires and Freycinet National Park.
Ben Lomond Ski Fields are about one hour away for those that want to ski or play in the snow. We have the most beautiful beaches on the North East Coast of Tasmania, which is only ten minutes drive. Rainbow Retreat is one and a half hours drive from Launceston and two and a half hours from Hobart on the sunny North East Coast.
To get to us, travel from St Marys about three kilometres until you get to Gillies Road and then turn right at the blue and yellow sign and follow the sign about two kilometres until you reach Rainbow Retreat |
