Bamurru Plains is located just to the west of Kakadu National Park, on the Mary River Floodplains in Australia's Top End. A profusion of bird and wildlife are on the doorstep of this unique bush camp that exudes Wild Bush Luxury' and brings a touch of style to a remote and beautiful wilderness. The hotel comprises of nine Safari suites with ensuite facilities and designed to blend with the surrounding bush and as such exposes guests to the sights and sounds of the bush around you. With no telephones, TVs, CD players or the typical features of a hotel room to distract you, your focus turns to the surrounding environment. Our concept is simple - we have focussed on key creature comforts, a supremely comfortable bed, 100% cotton linen, large soft bathtowels, a high pressure shower and providing lots of space. Meals are wholesome and innovative with a hint of native produce in many dishes. Your host provides an informal level of attention that is only possible when you are one of a small number of guests. It is their knowledge of the area that brings the experience alive. Enjoy daily guided activities including an airboat tour, river cruise, 4WD safaris, birdwatching and wildlife viewing. Private day tours can be arranged at an addtional cost to Kakadu National Park or Arnhem Land as well as guided fishing excursions. | |
