The 'boutique hotel' where stands Al Mamlouka used to be a family owned house similar to the other Damascene houses in the Old City it is located in the Christian quarter, Quemarieh street. The hotel built around a central courtyard with an original fountain in the middle and a citrus/ bitter orange (Naranj) trees and an Iwan or Liwan. The hotel has 8 bedrooms five of them surrounded the courtyard and three one situated on the first floor, it has a terraces and private patios.
